Happy Holidays

It's been 5 months since I posted anything...and that I cannot believe! It is amazing how time flies. You blink, and the kids are having another birthday- school has started, holidays have come and gone- and now we are nearing Christmas! Whewww!!

I have also done lots of address tiles, lots!! They are always fun to make though! I love the idea that all across the world- people have tiles of mine decorating their homes! I have sold to Australia, Netherlands and Turkey, to name just a few! Pretty neat huh!

I have been loving selling on both RedBubble and Society6.  They have added so much diversity into their sites: from techy gear for phones and computers to housewares, like shower curtains and pillows and rugs- and of course they always have stickers and T's! 

 I recently signed on to sell at a site geared towards children and moms called BOOMBOOM. They have maternity, baby and pet products!  It's exciting to see my work on say, a dogs sweater...or a baby blanket! So if you need a cool present for a new baby or Mom, please check out my BoomBoom site!

Tile Mosaics by Me!

I have been working with a gal for a few months now on a wall piece for her new home. She is right here in super sunny Florida. She wanted something bright and fun to go on her newly painted sage green and apricot home. I wish I had a picture of the house...but since I do not...try closing your eyes and picturing a pretty bright green sage-y home..with sunny orange-y, yellow apricot accents....mmmm can you see it??? Great color right- especially for here in South Florida!

 

These are the tiles she decided to go with...a flowery burst of color! These are not her actual tiles. She had 2 sets of address' with letters A & B...as this is a duplex!  But you can get the picture...very bright and fun colors!

Now for the fun part...she is making a mosaic of sorts on the front facade of the duplex. So I have made a few groupings of tiles to be placed under windows...in the corner as accents, etc.  Here are a few pics of what I've made thus far:

 and another diagonal. Notice the flower colors change throughout!

This is one of the bigger pieces...consists of 9 tiles.  She really likes the red flower center- so I have tried to tie that in...like on this border. 

Oh...found the address tiles. Not the best picture...but you can see the letters and how they all match with the bigger flower tiles.

I believe we have one more set and then the home will be complete! Check back in a month or so...hopefully I can get some installation pictures up! 

This is/was a big project...and I am so grateful to my client for having me take this remodel journey with her!!! Thanks :)

New address for the home!

I have been busy with home address tiles this past month.  Lots of orders and special requests! This one is a garden theme- birds, bugs and lots of flowers! Love it! I think they turned out so nice.

Then we have a lovely mix of blues and browns...

Just so happens both of these customers liked this font!

This last picture is awful...the sky was gray and not a drop of sun available for outdoor pics...but you can see the tiles well enough I suppose! These were for a family from Spain...wanted something to match all of their pottery in the garden.  The husband built a neat wooden frame for them...I have been promised a picture of them when they are installed!

and last but hopefully not least...a lovely set of LOVE coasters...yes, I truly do LOVE how these turned out!

WooHoo...love that my tiles will adorn people's homes!  In and out!!!
