Native American art

I love the Native American ideas of spirit animals or totems. I admire Art from tribal communities from all around the world. A few favorites are the Tlingit, Haida and Maori. I think it is just beautiful how tradition and techniques are passed down for generations. I have created a few animals of my own in a kind of homage to the art I so love.

  Here I am working on my Owl...we found a little owl we thought was hurt- turns out he was caught attacking a mocking bird nest and was freaked out!

This is the finished little guy....and this is a very awesome Bull Mahi Mahi!

And one more...this one has sold already, but I liked him so much I might have to do another!
